There is a health guarantee in our contract that you will have an opportunity to sign and read before purchasing.  This will hopefully protect all three parties involved: Kitten, Buyer and Seller. (Insert contract wording here…..we left this here on purpose)

The Breeder agrees to provide a letter from our veterinarian or a health certificate for cats that need it for travel purposes. This means that this cat/kitten was seen by a licensed veterinarian and deemed to be clear of infectious diseases, parasites, funguses, and congenital health conditions at the time of the exam. As far as we are aware your cat/kitten will be free of any health conditions at the time of pick up.

Kittens (less than one year) have a 3-year warranty (from the date of birth) against these genetic and congenital health conditions:
a) Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
b) Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
c) Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
d) Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKdef)

2) If a claim of any of the above-named defects is made, the Breeder must be notified, in writing, when the defect or condition is first detected. Notification must include a written diagnosis (on practice letterhead) from a licensed, qualified veterinarian, supporting documentation including test results, and a written opinion from your veterinarian regarding the seriousness of the cat’s condition.

3) The cat/kitten does not have to be deceased or returned to the Breeder for the Buyer to make a claim for the above genetic or congenital defects.

4) In the unlikely event that this cat/kitten is confirmed to be affected by a covered condition, The Queen’s Maine Coon will offer you a comparable replacement cat/kitten as soon as one is available.

a) A comparable replacement cat/kitten is one of similar age, or of the same sex, or of a similar color/pattern to the cat/kitten described above. Buyer agrees to
accept a replacement cat/kitten that is a match on at least two of the above
attributes and of equal or greater value.
b) If the buyer does not accept a replacement cat/kitten within two years, the buyer will lose all interest, monies, and replacement options and relinquish all rights to a replacement cat/kitten.

DO THEY USE THE LITTER BOX?

Yes! It’s actually pretty cool.  The kitten's Mama plays a crucial role in their upbringing by not only providing them with love
